Sports & Activities News:

Congratulations to  the following Cross Country athletes that qualify for the State competition on 11/8: Lucas Crews, Peyton Verschoor, and Kinsey Heisey!

There will be a Pep Bus for students who would like to attend Football Semi-Finals at Adrian on Friday, 11/7. In order to ride the bus you will have to pay for your ticket in advance through the HS Office, which is $6 & sign up. The bus will leave promptly at 4:15pm Friday.

Congratulations to Mr. Farmer for being awarded the Honorary American FFA Degree!

Congratulations to the Varsity Football team on their District win over Midway, 46-36. They will compete on Friday, 11/7 at Adrian for the Semi-Finals.

JH Wrestling Practices will be Monday - Friday, 3:35-4:45/5pm. Athletes must have a current sports physical on file before they can officially practice. You can turn it into the HS Office or the coach at practice.

There will be a HS Pep Rally/XC State send off Friday, 11/7 start at 11:45am.

Congratulations to Mrs. Walker for being nominated as a Missouri School Counselor of the Year finalist!

Annual Teacher Fundraiser has begun: Trash Bags are $13 each set and 5 gallon Laundry Soaps are $56 on sale through 11/17. Order Forms are available in the HS Office. Pick up will be at the Ag Building on 12/2 from 3:30-6:00pm.

Congratulations to Kathryn Farmer for being voted as Student of the Quarter.

Powder Puff Football: Sign-ups are in the HS Office. Required practice dates are Tuesday, 11/11 @ 6pm and Thursday, 11/13 @ 7pm with voluntary practices held the week of 11/17-11/21. The game will be held on Saturday, 11/22 at 1pm. See Mrs. Ross for additional questions.

FFA Week will be 11/10-11/16. Whether you are in FFA or not, show support with the following dress up days:

Tuesday, 11/11: Hawaiian Cowboy
Wednesday, 11/12: Official Dress or blue and gold/yellow
Thursday, 11/13: Gone Hunting (camo and orange)

Hats  can be worn on Tuesday and Thursday only.

Mobile Food Pantry: Liberty Hospital has partnered with Harvesters and Redemptorist Social Services Center to provide a drive through, Mobile Food Pantry on the Liberty Hospital campus. There are no residency requirements, so all are welcome. The pantry starts at 5:30pm on the following Fridays: 11/21, and 12/19. In addition to food, they sometimes have pet food and diapers. You may view the flyer on the Polo R-VII Facebook page that has a map for the drop off route on Liberty Hospital campus. (Drop off is generally completed within 1 hour.) Location is 2525  Glenn Hendren Drive, Liberty, MO 64068.
