Sports & Activities News:
**Whoop Whoop! Our Polo Lady Panthers ended their regular season UNDEFEATED with a record of 18-0!!! The Lady Panthers beat Hardin-Central on Monday, Oct. 3rd 16-1 and Braymer Tuesday, Oct. 4th 7-0! They will play Saturday at the Benton Tournament and then District will begin next week. Good Luck Panthers!

The Polo Panthers competed in the Excelsior Springs Invitational Cross Country meet Tuesday afternoon, October 4th. In the Varsity Girls' race, Madilynn Dickey led the pair of Panther runners finishing in 46th with Jorja Ebert close behind in 48th.Owen Horner paced the boys by medaling and placing 40th. Tyler Carter finished in 41st about 2 seconds behind. Jacob Simon placed 57th, Garrett Roberts 75th, Keith Farmer 78th and Ben Wolf finished in 87th. The Panther boys team placed 8th overall in this very competitive and hilly course.

**Congratulations to the FFA Grasslands Evaluation Team
(Preston Leeper, Jacob Simon, Celeste Harris, and Cooper Fox) for finishing 2nd place at Districts on Tuesday, Oct. 4th and advancing to the State Competition which will be held on Thursday, Oct. 20th. Also congrats to Gage Gilbert and Preston Leeper for finishing 3rd place individually in the District Contest.

Friday, 10/7 will be a Pink Out Football Game. If you ordered shirts but have not paid yet, please do so in the HS Office by the morning of Thursday, 10/6. Shirts will be handed out on Thursday.

Club will begin on Thursday, 10/6 at 7:00am in the Meeting Room. You will meet every Thursday morning. Any and all students are welcome to attend!

**The MS Girls Basketball Team is selling Panther
Shirts now through 10/14. Order forms are in the HS Office and include sizes from Youth Small to 2XL & up. Prices start at $9 for a T-shirt. Crewneck Sweatshirts and Hoodies are also available. A picture of the design is on the order form.

MS Girls BSKB practice begins Monday, 9/26 from 5-6pm in the HS Gym. Contact Samantha Pickrell (sammie.pickrell@gmail.com) or Mr. Lockhart if you have any questions. A current Sports Physical and Annual Form must be on file in the HS Office or brought to your coach at practice in order to participate. Copies are available in the HS Office or can be printed from the MSHSAA website shown below.

MS Boys BSKB practice: The first week of October until the end of the season, practices will be Monday - Fridays starting at 6:45am. Contact Mr. Schoning or Mr. Lockhart for any questions. A current Sports Physical and Annual Form must be on file in the HS Office or brought to your coach at practice in order to participate. **Any Seniors signed up to go on the Senior Trip who have not received a fundraiser packet should see Mr. Endicott ASAP. Sales must be completed and turned in by 10/31.

FLU CLINIC AT SCHOOL: Emails with sign up information for an upcoming Flu Vaccination clinic were sent to all parents of students who have an email address on file. Staff and students may sign up for the optional Flu (Influenza) Vaccination clinic, given by the Caldwell Health Department, that will be on the morning of 10/26 during school. Be sure to sign up before Friday, 10/7, if you want to participate. Students whose parents have signed them up, will be called from class, as time allows.

Yearbooks for the 2022-2023 School Year are now on sale. You can purchase by clicking the link on our school website or by the Josten's email you may have received. You can also pay with cash or check in the HS Office. Yearbooks are $40 or $47 with name stamping.
