Congratulations to HS Baseball for their 1-0 win over Maysville! Go Panthers!
Congratulations to Polo FFA for their State Contest achievements!
-The Soils team finished with a Group 3/Bronze rating, finishing in 42nd place. Lucky Harris, Ashton Tanner, Meredith Segar, and Ethan Wattenbarger all received Group 3/Bronze ratings individually.
-The Agronomy team finished in 46th place, also earning a Group 3/Bronze rating. Kathryn Farmer received a Group 2/Silver rating and Kyle Kipping received a Group 3/Bronze rating. Other team members are Keegan Howell and Drew Moore.
-The Dairy Cattle team finished 55th with a Group 3/Bronze rating. Alexia Lewis, Tyler Acree, Kayleigh Williams, and Jaecy Heisey all received a Group 3/Bronze rating individually.
-The Ag Mechanics team finished 35th with a Group 3/Bronze rating. Owen Horner and Gage Gilbert received a Group2/Silver rating. Ryan Robison and Trenton Qualman received a Group 3/Bronze rating individually.
-The Food Science team finished 22nd with a Group 3/Bronze rating. Celeste Harris and Jacob Simon finished with a Group 2/Silver rating and Holly Serner and Miley Carr with a Group 3/Bronze rating individually.

Congratulation to the Polo High School Student Council which has been awarded the Missouri Association of Student Councils Honor Council Gold Award! Awards were presented at the 2025 MASC State Convention held at Poplar Bluff High School. Polo StuCo was recognized for its involvement at the local level, involvement in Northwest District Student Council, and involvement at the state level. Only 66 student councils in the state of Missouri met the criteria for the award. Criteria activities include school service, school spirit, community service, student and teacher recognition, and leadership training activities. These students make a positive contribution to our school and help to create a positive educational climate.

Prom will be held on Saturday, May 3rd at The Plattsburg Community Courtyard with Grand March beginning at 6:30pm, and Prom from 7:30-10:30pm. Guest sign-ups are in the HS Office and due on or before Wednesday, April 30. **Any guest that is not a Polo Senior or Junior must fill out a guest permission slip.** Ticket purchases are now closed.
After Prom sign-ups are closed and all permission slips should have been turned in. You do not have to attend Prom to attend After Prom.
**Prom Grand March announcement Bio Forms are on the HS office counter. Juniors and Seniors, you need to fill one out for yourself and your date (that you signed up) to participate in Grand March. These are due back to the HS Office by this Friday, 4/25.
Color Guard practices will be May 5th-8th; with tryouts on Friday, 5/9. Sign-ups are in the HS Office.
MS and HS Cheer Clinic after school this week April 28th - May 1st, with tryouts on Friday, 5/2 beginning at 4:00 pm in the HS Gym.
School Health Advisory Council Meeting (SHAC) 2024/2025: The 2nd semester review for SHAC will be on Thursday, May 15, 2025 for Polo R-VII School at 3:30pm, in the Meeting Room #102. All members of the School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) are invited. Parents and other community members are welcome and encouraged to attend. SHAC is a diverse group of individuals who represent the council from a multidisciplinary background. The meetings benefit the school by having a review of current health care, nutrition, wellness, and safety programs, while providing the opportunity to work with the school to develop, implement, monitor, and revise as necessary our School Wellness Plan. The Parent's as Teachers (PAT) group will be reporting at this meeting as well.
